Curatorial Statement:

I feel an increasing responsibility towards furthering communication and understanding between cultures. It is this responsibility that I hope to fulfill through my curatorial practice while providing a platform for artists who explore notions of disenfranchisement, marginality, migration, globalization and intersectional identity. Please click on each image to see installation shots.

Past Curatorial Projects:

India Inked!, an exhibition of prints, brings together eighteen artists who have roots in India, its history and culture. Some artists explore new methods and forms while others attempt to expand the possibilities of conventional methods of printmaking. These artists respond to diverse contemporary experiences within and outside of India. Certain sensibilities and Ideas linked to India and its cultural forms connect the artworks in this exhibition. This exhibition is traveling to Arizona State University in October 2017 and to SNAP Artists in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in April 2018.
